News 66th Annual Tony Awards and HBO's "Behind the Candelabra" Among Creative Arts Emmy Award Winners The 66th Annual Tony Awards and the HBO film "Behind the Candelabra" were among the winners at the 2013 Creative Arts Emmy Awards, which were held Sept. 15 at the NOKIA Theater L.A. LIVE in Los Angeles.

As previously announced, The 65th Primetime Emmy Awards, which will be hosted by Broadway star and Emmy-winning actor Neil Patrick Harris, will air live Sept. 22 at 8 PM ET on CBS.

At the Creative Arts Emmys, which will air Sept. 21 on FXX, HBO took home 20 Emmys, followed by CBS with 15 and NBC with 11.

HBO's "Behind the Candelabra" was the most awarded program with eight Emmys, including Outstanding Casting for a Miniseries, Movie or Special; Outstanding Art Direction for a Miniseries or Movie; Outstanding Single-Camera Picture Editing for a Miniseries or Movie; Outstanding Hairstyling for a Movie or Miniseries; Outstanding Sound Mixing for a Miniseries or Movie; Outdating Prosthetic Makeup for a Series, Miniseries, Movie or Special; and Outstanding Makeup For A Miniseries Or A Movie (Non-Prosthetic).

The 66th Annual Tony Awards, presented in June 2012, received awards for Outstanding Music Direction (Elliot Lawrence, music director), Outstanding Original Music and Lyrics ("If I Had Time"; lyrics by Adam Schlesinger, music by David Javerbaum), Outstanding Special Class Programs and Outstanding Technical Direction, Camerawork, Video Control for a Miniseries, Movie or a Special.

Other notable wins include "South Park" (by Tony winners Matt Stone and Trey Parker) for Outstanding Animated Program; The 55th Annual Grammy Awards for Outstanding Sound Mixing for a Variety Series or Special and Outstanding Costumes for a Variety Program or Special; Carrie Preston for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Drama Series for "The Good Wife"; and The Kennedy Center Honors for Outstanding Directing for a Variety Special and Outstanding Variety Special.
