News 92nd Street Y's Sixteen Wounded Panel Discussion Canceled The 92nd Street Y's upcoming panel discussion about the new Broadway play Sixteen Wounded has been canceled.

An April 20 statement from the 92nd Street Y says, "Due to the expected closing of the play Sixteen Wounded, the 92nd Street Y's April 26 panel discussion about the play (which was to have featured Judd Hirsch, Omar Metwally and Eliam Kraiem) has been canceled."

Two worlds collide in Sixteen Wounded when a radical Palestinian (Metwally) is hurled through the window of a Dutch bakery owned by Hans (Hirsch). The new play began previews at the Walter Kerr March 22 and officially opened April 15 to mixed reviews. Although no official closing date has been announced, the drama is advertising its final week of performances at the Kerr.
