PlayBlog A Cover Story: La Bete David Hirson's 17th-century-set satire La Bete, currently playing London's Comedy Theatre, will transfer to Broadway's Music Box Theatre Sept. 23.

According to producers, "A popular street performer and a classical writer square off in American playwright David Hirson's thoughtful comedy La Bete. Director Matthew Warchus' cast stars David Hyde Pierce, Mark Rylance and Joanna Lumley.
