News A Fact of Life: Charlotte Rae to Make NYC Barnes & Noble Appearance Feb. 21 Charlotte Rae, the indelible character actress who wowed nightclub and theatre audiences in the 1950s and '60s, and became a TV star on "The Facts of Life," is making an appearance at Lincoln Center's Barnes & Noble 6 PM Feb. 21.

Rae will be performing songs from her recently issued CD from PS Classics, "Songs I Taught My Mother," as well as "other witty, sexy and moving material from her long and varied career."

Rae's credits include the original New York casts of Threepenny Opera (the famed Off-Broadway production) and Li'l Abner, as well as more recent concert appearances in 70 Girls 70 and Plain and Fancy.

Rae's appearance is part of "Any Wednesday," the concert series that celebrates the best in cabaret, jazz and Broadway. It's a program of the Lincoln Center Barnes and Noble, 66th Street and Broadway, in Manhattan.

Each performance begins at 6 PM, lasts approximately 30 minutes, and is followed by an autograph/meet-and-greet session with the artist. There is no charge.
