Director Rachel Chavkin, Tony nominee for The Great Comet and director of this spring's upcoming Broadway musical Hadestown, directs the rarely-produced Arthur Miller play The American Clock at London's Old Vic Theatre. The production opens February 13 and is set to run through March 30.

The American Clock follows the lives of the men and women who have to balance hope and despair while struggling through the Depression, and who, against all odds, maintain their belief in the American Dream. For her new production, Chavkin triple-casts the central family with three distinct groupings—a Jewish-American version, an Asian-American version, and an African-American version.
