Take a look back at The King and I onstage—from the original Broadway production with Gertrude Lawrence and Yul Brynner (which opened March 29, 1951), to revivals starring Constance Towers, Angela Lansbury, Donna Murphy, and more. The most recent Broadway revival, the 2015 Lincoln Center Theater staging at the Vivian Beaumont Theater, won four Tony Awards, including Best Revival and Best Actress in a Musical to star Kelli O'Hara.
