In honor of Halloween, A Perfect Crime will welcome New York Times best-selling horror author F. Paul Wilson, as well as "Ladykiller" co-authors Meredith Anthony and Lawrence Light. The 6:30 PM discussion on horror, mystery and suspense, is free for ticket-holders to the 8 PM performance.
Written by Warren Manzi and directed by Jeffrey Hyatt, A Perfect Crime, according to press notes, "tells the story of Margaret Brent, an accomplished Connecticut psychiatrist and potential cold-blooded killer. When her wealthy husband turns up dead, she gets caught in the middle of a terrifying game of cat and mouse with a deranged patient and the handsome but duplicitous investigator assigned to the case. As the clock ticks to the final chilling revelation, a mounting set of secrets and indiscretions leads to a shocking turns of events. Did Margaret Brent commit 'the perfect crime?'"
The cast features long-time actress Catherine Russell, Michael Brian Dunn (The Life), Patrick Robustelli, Richard Shoberg ("All My Children") and Broadway veteran Robert Emmet Lunney (Mauritius).
Perfect Crime opened as an Equity Showcase in 1987 and since moving Off-Broadway has been running for 21 years, making it the longest-running play in the history of New York theatre.
