News A Steady Rain's Daniel Craig Cast in Psychological Thriller Daniel Craig, who will make his Broadway debut later this season in the two-character Keith Huff play A Steady Rain, has can been cast in a new film.

Variety reports that the newest James Bond will star in the psychological thriller "Dream House" for Morgan Creek.

Jim Sheridan will direct the motion picture, which begins filming Jan. 25, 2010. Craig, according to the industry paper, has been cast as a "New York publishing exec who relocates his family to a small New England town only to learn that their new home was the scene of a vicious murder."

David Loucka penned the screenplay for "Dream House," which will be produced by James G. Robinson along with David Robinson, Daniel Bobker and Ehren Krueger.

In London Daniel Craig has worked with the Royal National Theatre (Angels in America), the Peter Hall Company at the Old Vic (Hurlyburly), and he was nominated for a 2002 London Evening Standard Theatre Award for Best Actor for his performance in A Number at the Royal Court Theatre. His film credits include "Defiance," "Quantum of Solace," "Flashbacks of a Fool," "The Golden Compass," "The Invasion," "Casino Royale," "Infamous" and "Renaissance," among others.

A Steady Rain will begin previews Sept. 10 at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre. The production will play a strictly limited 12-week engagement through Dec. 6. Opening night is scheduled for Sept. 29.
