A Tribute to Howard Ashman and Alan Menken, celebrating the rhymes and rhythms of composer Menken and late lyricist-librettist Ashman, plays 54 Below July 2-3 at 7 PM; the July 2 performance will also be live streamed.

Performing songs from Little Shop of Horrors, Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid, Aladdin, and more are Tony nominee Melissa Errico (Amour), Hadestown's Alex Lugo, John Yi (KPOP), Jana Djenne Jackson (Almost Famous), Cameron Loyal (Bad Cinderella), Nic Mains (Charlie and the Chocolate Factory), Audrey Belle Adams (Charlie and the Chocolate Factory), Juwan Crawley (Aladdin), Chiubeze Ihuoma (Hadestown), Katherine D'Souza, Tymothee Harrell (DUDE at 54 Below), Ali Regan (Grand Ole Country), Gryphyn Karimloo, Tristan David Caldwell, Nadia Duncan, Rachel Lloyd (DUDE at 54 Below), and Leslie-Payton Alston.

Nadia Duncan plays the role of Sylvia from God Bless You, Mr. Rosewater at the July 2 performance, while Ali Regan will play the part at the July 3 performance.

Theatre historian and Playbill writer Margaret Hall produces and directs the concerts. Musical director and pianist Ben Covello leads a band that also features Ben Nate Repasz on drums, Jennifer Giammanco on bass, Eitan Prouser on guitar, and Ben Golder-Novick on saxophone/clarinet.

The concert’s assistant music arranger is Matthew Nassida. Madie Winningham serves as stage manager.
