Throughout one late night and into the dawning day, these two iconic characters from life and literature attempt to understand each other across a chasm of race in the midst of the Civil War, and find themselves crossing over into each other’s world in a tale of suffering, self-discovery and redemption."

The artistic team includes set designer Joe Stanley, costume designer Claire Brauch, lighting designer Mike Wangen, sound designer C. Andrew Mayer and properties designer Kellie Larson.
