News Abingdon Theatre Company Announces Three World-Premiere Plays Abingdon Theatre Company has announced the three world-premiere plays slated for its 2015-16 season, beginning with JB Reich's Cut Throat in the fall. The 23rd season will also include Charles Messina's A Room of My Own and Ken Levine's Married By Midnight.

Founded in 1993, the Off-Broadway company has a long history of producing new works. More details of the new season follow.

In A Room of My Own, Charles Messina recounts his adolescence growing up in a Greenwich Village studio apartment with his eccentric Italian-American family. This semi-autobiographical adult comedy takes a hilarious and heartfelt look at NYC in the late-1970s.
