Every Brilliant Thing is a solo play written by Duncan Macmillan with Jonny Donahoe and performed by Donahoe with direction by George Perrin. It follows one man's attempt, from childhood into adulthood, to create a list of all the best things in the world to cure his mother's depression. "We are thrilled for the continuing life of this heartfelt story, from audiences across the U.K. having the opportunity to see it again to future plans here in the U.S.," said producer Jean Doumanian in an earlier press statement.
The show's second U.K. tour begins performances at the Machynlleth Comedy Festival in Wales and will play cities across the U.K. including Liverpool, Oxford, the Brighton Festival and Canterbury, among other engagements. For a full tour schedule, visit painesplough.com.
