News Acclaimed Off-Broadway Hit Every Brilliant Thing Launches Second U.K. Tour The Paines Plough and Pentabus Theatre Company production of Every Brilliant Thing, which played an extended run at Off-Broadway's Barrow Street Theatre earlier this year, launches its second U.K. tour May 2. The show enjoyed critically acclaimed runs in New York City, London and Edinburgh.

Every Brilliant Thing is a solo play written by Duncan Macmillan with Jonny Donahoe and performed by Donahoe with direction by George Perrin. It follows one man's attempt, from childhood into adulthood, to create a list of all the best things in the world to cure his mother's depression. "We are thrilled for the continuing life of this heartfelt story, from audiences across the U.K. having the opportunity to see it again to future plans here in the U.S.," said producer Jean Doumanian in an earlier press statement.

The show's second U.K. tour begins performances at the Machynlleth Comedy Festival in Wales and will play cities across the U.K. including Liverpool, Oxford, the Brighton Festival and Canterbury, among other engagements. For a full tour schedule, visit painesplough.com
