News Actors from "Smash," Shuffle Along and More Will Celebrate Whitney Houston at Joe's Pub The Meeting*, hosted by Justin Sayre, will return to Joe's Pub Sept. 27 to celebrate the late Grammy Award-winning music icon Whitney Houston.

The 9:30 PM show will feature special guests Darius de Haas (Shuffle Along), Natalie Joy Johnson (Kinky Boots), Jaime Cepero ("Smash") and Inyang Bassey, among others. Tracy Stark serves as the show's music director.

Other Meeting* shows at Joe's Pub this season will include tributes to the cult film "Practical Magic" for Halloween (Oct. 25), legendary composer Billy Strayhorn (Nov. 22) for his centennial, and the 7th annual Holiday Spectacular (Dec. 20). All performances are Sundays at 9:30 PM.

The Meeting* is "known for a signature blend of outrageous comedy, politics, culture and everything in between." According to press notes, "Each month, the I.O.S gathers to honor an artist or a cultural work that is iconic to the gay community. Justin Sayre, the show's creator, writer and host, serves as the Chairman of the Board of the International Order of Sodomites and brings his singular wit to essential business of the day through such regular features such as 'Letters to the Chairman' and 'New Rulings from the Board.'"

Sparkle & Circulate with Justin Sayre, the official podcast of the International Order of Sodomites (featuring interviews with Randy Harrison, Justin Vivian Bond, Michael Musto, Frank DeCaro, Jeffery Self, Kim David Smith and R&B legend Sarah Dash) is available on iTunes here. "The Gay Agenda," the debut comedy album from Justin Sayre and The Meeting*, will be available this season.

The Meeting* is produced by Dan Fortune and Adam J. Rosen, with Fortune serving as executive producer.
