News Actors Fund Gala Honors Oscar-Winning Actor and Former NYC Mayor Tonight The Actors Fund's annual gala, held May 11 at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in Times Square, honors Academy Award-winning actor Morgan Freeman as well as entrepreneur, philanthropist and former New York City Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg.

Bloomberg and Freeman will receive The Fund’s Medal of Honor, the highest award given by the 133-year old non-profit human services organization, which serves everyone in performing arts and entertainment.

The event begins at 6 PM with cocktails followed by dinner and tribute at 7:15 PM.
