Thinking of seeing a Broadway show? Why not go on a night when you can enjoy the performance and support an organization that gives aid to needy members of the profession?

The nation's "only human service organization for all entertainment professionals," the Actors' Fund of America is best known for providing financial assistance and social services (food, rent, medical expenses) to professionals in need. Given on a night when the show doesn't normally play, an Actors' Fund performance, with all benefits going to the Fund, charges the same box office prices as on other nights and is often well attended by members of the entertainment community.

Here's the upcoming line-up for Actors' Fund benefits.

The Phantom of the Opera (Majestic Theatre), Nov. 22, 3 PM (ET).
The Gin Game (Los Angeles, CA), Dec 1, 8 PM (PT).
Les Miserables (Imperial Theatre), Dec 6, 7:45 PM (ET).
Beauty And The Beast (Palace Theatre) Dec 8, 7:30 PM (ET).

Tickets are available at the theatre box offices or by calling 1-800-FUND TIX (386-3849). -- By Christine Ehren and David Lefkowitz
