Jackie Five-Oh!, which is billed as "a celebration of Jackie Hoffman's first 50th birthday," will be presented at the downtown venue Nov. 22 and 29 and Dec. 6 and 13. Show time for each performance is 7:30 PM.
The upcoming show is written by Hoffman and Michael Schiralli. Schiralli directs with musical direction by Bobby Peaco.
"In this ALL NEW SHOW," according to the Joe's Pub website, "Broadway's funniest broad muses about her own decay and playing Grandma Addams in the much talked about Addams Family musical. The usual and unusual targets aren't spared. Jackie always finds new ways to offend."
Jackie Hoffman received a Theatre World Award for her work in Hairspray. Her other theatrical credits include Xanadu, The Sisters Rosensweig, Regrets Only, Book of Liz (Obie Award), Straightjacket, Incident at Cobbler's Knob and One Woman Shoe (Jeff Award). Hoffman has been seen on screen in "Legally Blonde II," "Kissing Jessica Stein," "Garden State," "Mo' Money" and "Freaky Friday."
