News Additional Cast Announced for Sunday in the Park... With Ron Bohmer and Erin Davie Chris Hietikko, Deanne Lorette, Zoe Vonder Haar and Mark Emerson have joined the cast of Sunday in the Park With George, starring Ron Bohmer and Erin Davie, which will begin putting it together Jan. 4, 2012, at the Repertory Theatre of St. Louis.

Bohmer (Phantom of the Opera, Ragtime) and Davie (Grey Gardens, A Little Night Music) were previously announced to star as George and Dot/Marie, respectively, in the Tony Award and Pulitzer Prize-winning musical by Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine.

The cast will also feature Hietikko as Jules/Bob Greenberg, Lorette as Yvonne/Naomi, Vonder Haar as Old Lady/Blair, Emerson as Louis/Billy Webster, as well as Meggie Cansler as Celeste 1/Elaine, Kari Ely as Nurse/Harriet, Steve French as the Boatman/Dennis, Audrey Rae McHale as Celeste 2, Sean Montgomery as the Soldier/Alex, Whit Reichart as Mr./Lee Randolph and Rebecca Watson as Mrs./Betty. The role of the young girl, Louise, remains to be cast.

The ensemble will include Nyssa Duchow, Charles Ingram, Jacob Lacopo and Jordan Parente.

Rob Ruggiero, who staged Looped and High on Broadway, will stage Sunday in the Park With George, which will run Jan. 4-29, 2012.

Sunday in the Park… will have musical direction by Wade Russo, choreography by Ralph Perkins, scenic design by Adrian Jones, lighting design by John Lasiter, costume design by Alejo Vietti and sound design by Michael Hooker. Here's how the Rep bills the musical: "Shimmering with love and light, this unique, inventive musical is one of the most acclaimed shows of our time. Inspired by the life and work of enigmatic 19th century impressionist painter Georges Seurat, this Pulitzer Prize-winning masterpiece explores the complexity of life and the art of understanding it. Stephen Sondheim’s soaring score and insightful lyrics intertwine with Seurat’s distinctive art to create a moving, poetic drama, dot by dot."
