Directed by Terry Rabine, the cast also features David Bunce, Brenny Rabine, Alexandra Tarantelli and Brendan Cataldo. Opening night is set for June 27.

Black Tie, according to press notes, is "set in a Lake George Hotel on the eve of a family wedding. The father of the groom simply wants to make a memorable toast. But before he is able to raise his glass, he must defend time‐honored traditions of the past, including his formal attire. Cultures and generations clash when a surprise guest is announced, threatening to throw convention out the window. Balancing the standards of his late father and the needs of his future family may prove too messy for a black tie affair."

Other members of the creative team include set designer Holly Breuer, lighting designer Jason Weber, costume designer Caitlin Hadley, sound designer Bryan Rothrock and stage manager Sara Friedman.

Following Black Tie, the Adirondack Theatre Festival will feature the Pulitzer Prize-winning musical Next to Normal  (July 5-14) and Woody Sez: The Life and Music of Woody Guthrie  (July 19-28). Special events at the festival include The More Things Change, a "second act cabaret" written by and starring Joe Kinosian and Kellen Blair, June 28-30; and a new play reading of Eric Lane's Filming O’Keeffe, July 21-22.

Founded in 1995, Adirondack Theatre Festival is committed to producing new and contemporary works of theatre. ATF operates under a Small Professional Theatre Agreement with Actors' Equity Association. The Charles R. Wood Theater is located at 207 Glen Street in downtown Glens Falls.
