News Adrianne Lobel Talks Frog & Toad May 3 at NYC Barnes & Noble Adrianne Lobel, producer and scenic designer of the Broadway musical, A Year With Frog and Toad, and daughter of author-illustrator Arnold Lobel, will discuss the process of adapting the "Frog and Toad" books for Broadway at Barnes & Noble on Manhattan's Upper East Side May 3.

Lobel will speak and also sign copies of "Frog & Toad Are Friends" (HaperCollins Publishers).

The new musical is based on characters created by her father. The show, which stars Mark-Linn Baker and Jay Goede, is aimed at family audiences, though some critics have said the score offers something for grown-ups without kids, too. Songs are by brothers Willie and Robert Reale.

Performances continue at the Cort Theatre. Lobel appears 11 AM May 3 at Barnes & Noble, 240 E. 86th Street (between Second and Third Avenues). For information, call (212) 794-1962.
