News Advance Screening of "Into the Woods" Will Be Held in Hollywood, Where Costumes Will Be On Display A special advance screening of the film adaptation of Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine's Into the Woods will be held Dec. 24 at 7 PM at Hollywood's El Capitan Theatre for El Capitan guests.

Lylle Breier, senior vice president of worldwide special events for Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures, said in a statement, "Only at the El Capitan will guests have the opportunity to see a display about the making of the movie featuring several of the spectacular costumes designed by Academy Award winner Colleen Atwood before and after every screening."

El Capitan will present an engagement of "Into The Woods" Dec. 25-Jan. 11, 2015. The Dec. 24 advance screening will feature prizes and giveaways.

On select dates, El Capitan guests may see the movie costumes at the Costume Mixer. Guests will have the opportunity to walk amongst the displays before the rest of the audience enters the theatre and receive a commemorative photo before the 8 PM movie. Seating is limited, and reservations are required.

As previously announced, Playbill.com will premiere a world-premiere clip from the eagerly awaited film adaptation of Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine's Into the Woods on Nov. 20.
