As previously announced, the Emmy-winning actor best known for his work on TV's "Star Trek" and "Boston Legal" will bring his one-man show to Broadway's Music Box Theatre next month.

Shatner's World: We Just Live in It will play the Music Box Feb. 14-March 4 with an official opening scheduled for Feb. 16. The Music Box was recently the home of the revival of Noel Coward's Private Lives; this spring it will also welcome the London hit One Man, Two Guvnors.

The two-hour show, according to press notes, will "take audiences on a voyage through Shatner's life and career, from Shakespearean stage actor to internationally known icon and raconteur, known as much for his unique persona as for his expansive body of work on television and film."

Returning to Broadway for the first time since 1962, Shatner said in a statement, "I've been pretty busy since I last played the Music Box. I've been refurbished; I hope the theatre has been too. My plan has always been to return to Broadway every 50 years. I can't ask my fans to wait for me longer than Halley's Comet, so I'm coming back."

San Francisco, CA (March 11 at the Orpheum Theatre)
