News After the Dance Reading to Feature John Bolton, Amy Rutberg and Jessica Dickey John Bolton, Amy Rutberg and Jessica Dickey will take part in a Sept. 10 reading of Terence Rattigan's 1939 comedy After the Dance at the National Arts Club.

Noel & Company presents the free, 8 PM book-in-hand performance that will be directed by the troupe's artistic director, Keith Merrill. Christopher John Stegmayer and Mary Ellen Ashley produce the reading.

After The Dance, according to Noel & Co., "reveals a truly vivid study of humanity and the depths of the human heart. The play takes place in chic Mayfair and revolves around Joan and David, the frivolous, party-going Bright Young Things in question. They find the veneer of their younger selves wearing thin. An affair is followed by tragedy, which in turn leads to further devastation. Brimming with richly drawn characters, immense wit and astonishingly poignant dramatic writing, After The Dance offers a thought provoking, moving and hilarious night of exemplary theatre by one of Noël Coward’s best loved playwrights."

Bolton, Rutberg and Dickey will be joined by Kevin Collins, David Graham Jones, Alex Rice, Holly Holcomb, Jerry Richardson and Mary Ellen Ashley.
