News Ahmanson Designates Feb. 13 as "Pay What You Can" Show for Romeo Tuesday, Feb. 13 at 8 PM has been designated by the Ahmanson Theatre as a "Pay What You Can" performance of Romeo and Juliet. Tuesday, Feb. 13 at 8 PM has been designated by the Ahmanson Theatre as a "Pay What You Can" performance of Romeo and Juliet. Sir Peter Hall's production of the Shakespeare classic runs through March 18. Hall directed last season's acclaimed production of Amadeus at the Ahmanson.The Pay What You Can Program allows audience members to purchase tickets for a selected performance at whatever price they can afford. Tickets can only be purchased (from noon on) at the Ahmanson Theatre box office for cash only, on the day of the performance. Tickets are limited to two per person. The program is made possible in part through grants from the California Arts Council, the L.A. County Board of Supervisors and the L.A. County Arts Commission. Ahmanson Theatre is located at 135 N. Grand Ave. in the Music Center complex.
