News Ahmanson Designates May 30 as Pay What You Can for Pimpernel The Ahmanson Theatre has designated the May 30, 8 PM performance of The Scarlet Pimpernel as a "Pay What You Can" performance. The Nan Knighton-Frank Wildhorn musical runs through June 18 at the Ahmanson, with Douglas Sills starring in the role of Percy, the British nobleman who dons the disguise of the Pimpernel to dash off to Paris to save fellow aristocrats from the guillotine.

The Ahmanson Theatre has designated the May 30, 8 PM performance of The Scarlet Pimpernel as a "Pay What You Can" performance. The Nan Knighton-Frank Wildhorn musical runs through June 18 at the Ahmanson, with Douglas Sills starring in the role of Percy, the British nobleman who dons the disguise of the Pimpernel to dash off to Paris to save fellow aristocrats from the guillotine. The "Pay What You Can" program allows audience members to purchase tickets at whatever price they can afford. Tickets can only be purchased at the Ahmanson Theatre box office by cash, on the day of the performance. Tickets are limited to two per person. The box office opens at noon.
