Bolero is at the Richard Rodgers Theatre through Dec. 5.
Bolero previously appeared in the Broadway company for three-and-a-half months in the beginning of 2009 as a member of the ensemble and cover for Piragua Guy. The East Los Angeles native is a graduate of the American Center for Music Theater. He was mentored by Margo, the legendary Latina actress (and wife of Eddie Albert) who co-founded Plaza de la Raza.
His credits include Broadway's Joseph and the Amazing Dreamcoat (revival), plus tours of Joseph with Sam Harris and Man of La Mancha with Robert Goulet, and the regional productions of La Posada Majica (South Coast Rep); Lalo (Mark Taper); Selena (the Doolittle); The World Goes Round (Rubicon, Robbie Award nominee); Nine as Guido (Gene Dynarski Theater, Dramalogue Award); Edwin Drood (Performance Riverside, Inland Empire Award); Che in Evita (Music Theater West, Dramalogue Award); and Cesar Chavez in Ed Begley's Cesar and Ruben (B. Iden Payne Award from the Austin Circle of Critics.)
