Ailey II, what the New York Times called “the younger version of Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater,” is set to return to The Ailey Citigroup Theater in March for its annual New York season. The company of 12 young dancers will arrive in NYC on the heels of a 32-city world tour.

The program will features the world premieres of Road to One by Darrell Grand Moultrie, Touch & Agree by Juel D. Lane, and Breaking Point by Renee I. McDonald, along with standouts from the previous season by choreographers Jae Man Joo, Bridget L. Moore, and former Ailey dancer Marcus Willis.

Performances will be at The Ailey Citigroup Theater March 14–25.

“I am excited for New York audiences to experience the strength and grace of these gifted artists who are on the rise in the dance world,” said Ailey II Artistic Director Troy Powell in a statement. “The works by these imaginative choreographers beautifully showcase the virtuosity and prowess of Ailey II.’”
