News Aladdin Star James Monroe Iglehart to Work His Magic at 54 Below Tony winner James Monroe Iglehart, Aladdin's beloved and Tony Award-winning Genie on Broadway, will make his solo concert debut at 54 Below on May 4 for one night only.

According to 54 Below, Iglehart's show, How the Heck Did I Get Here? will delve into "his obsession with being cool, getting girls and a becoming a star." The Broadway vet will offer funny childhood stories and songs ranging from R&B, hip-hop, gospel, country and Broadway.

Iglehart's Broadway credits also include Memphis and The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. In January he made a guest appearance at 54 Below in composer-lyricist Scott Alan's concert show. How the Heck Did I Get Here? will mark his solo debut at the uptown cabaret club.
