Jo Bonney (Some Girl(s), subUrbia) directs the debut, which began previews Jan. 17 for a run through March 11. Ball pens his first new play in more than a dozen years. The tale that unfolds is "seen through the eyes of two young men in Los Angeles, one a privileged native Angeleno (Lysy), the other an enigmatic immigrant from the Middle East (Macdissi)," according to press materials.

Peter Macdissi ("Six Feet Under"), Austin Lysy (The Water's Edge, Hobson's Choice) and Patch Darragh (The Ruby Sunrise, Our Town) star in the work with Kandiss Edmundson ("Inside Man," "C.S.I."), David Margulies (Wonderful Town, Angels in America) and Victor Slezak (The Graduate, Jackie).

The design team includes Neil Patel (scenic), Emilio Sosa (costumes), David Lander (lighting) and Darron L. West (sound). Larry K. Ash serves as production stage manager.

The show, which runs approximately two hours (with one intermission), offers post-performance audience discussions Feb. 13 and 21.

The 2006-2007 NYTW lineup began with Thaddeus Phillips' ¡El Conquistador! and Martha Clarke's Kaos. The American premiere of René Pollesch's 24 Hours Are Not a Day will close out the season (April).
