PlayBlog Alan Cumming, Carly Rose Sonenclar, Coy Stewart and More to Appear on New Season of "The Electric Company" The Emmy Award-winning PBS educational series "The Electric Company" will welcome several theatre vets to both its regular cast and guest star roster when it premieres its new season Feb. 7 on PBS KIDS GO!

Tony Award winner Alan Cumming (Cabaret), Benji and Joel Madden of the rock band Good Charlotte, rapper-producer Swizz Beats, comedians Jenny Slate ("Saturday Night Live") and Sherrod Small, "The Daily Show" correspondent Wyatt Cenac and beat boxer Doug E. Fresh will appear in new beat-boxing segments, music videos or storylines helping to teach kids the value of literacy and mathematics.

Carly Rose Sonenclar (Les Miserables, the upcoming Wonderland) and Coy Stewart (Are We There Yet?) will join the show's regular cast, which also features theatre veterans Jenni Barber (The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, From Up Here), Josh Segarra (Fools in Love), Ricky Smith (The Color Purple), Will Harper (Ruined), Ashley Morris (Die Mommie Die) and Sandie Rosa (Wanda's World).

The upcoming season of "The Electric Company" will consist of 12 new episodes, airing every Monday on PBS KIDS GO!
