News Albee Actor Stephen Rowe Brings Stand-Up Mark to St. John, Nov. 10 Stephen Rowe, who has acted in the recent New York stagings of Edward Albee's The Goat on Broadway and Tiny Alice Off-Broadway, will perform his one-man show Stand-Up Mark at the Cathedral of St. John the Divine in Manhattan on Nov. 10.

The venue is appropriate, since Stand-Up Mark is a modern retelling of the Gospel of Mark. The event is free to the public and commences at 7 PM. The Book of Mark has a particular attraction for actors. Alec McCowen toured the world for many years with his version of St. Mark's Gospel.

Rowe has also appeared in such Broadway and Off-Broadway productions as The Nerd, Serious Money, Spoils of War, The Normal Heart and A Private Views.

St. John the Divine is located at 1047 Amsterdam Avenue at 112th Street.
