Tony Award nominee Alex Brightman, who will play his final performance as School of Rock’s Dewey Finn November 6, will offer audition master classes with his collaborators, the (M)orons, in November and December.

The rotating series with members of the (M)orons—Brightman (School of Rock), singer-songwriter Drew Gasparini, Andrew Kober (She Loves Me, Les Misérables, Hair), and F. Michael Haynie (Wicked, Dogfight)—will begin in November.

Brightman and Gasparini teach the November 12 class from 4-7 PM at Pearl Studios, 519 8th Avenue (Studio A), and the December 9 class from 4-7 PM at Pearl Studios. Future classes will be announced at a later date.

The classes promise individual attention, so each session will be capped at 12-15 students. If and when a class reaches capacity, there is an option to audit the class and take part in a Q&A. The class costs $200 and $50 to audit.

The master classes will offer “a counter-culture technique on how to ‘win the room,’ and a guided plan for genuine confidence,” and “the (M)orons can help you rebuild the way you audition from the ground up.”
