The 11:30 PM concert is directed by Blayze Teicher, who also directed the original production at Florida State University in 2012 (with original book by Sean Peter Drohan), and features musical direction by Dana Haynes and orchestrations by Ryan Fielding Garrett.

Performers include Glenn ("Orange is the New Black," Spring Awakening), Canonico (American Idiot, Bare the Musical) and Mach (Godspell, Hands on a Hard Body).

The plot, according to press notes, "follows high school best friends Katie, Dan, and Ryan meeting for the first time after 4 years of radio silence — at a friend's funeral. A Night Like This explores reconciliation set to Oyen's acoustic rock score."

"After three years of development, I am so excited we can share this story with a New York audience within the intimacy of a concert setting. Alex has this rare ability to match a hauntingly beautiful score with the most direct and honest lyrics — it's a really special gift," added director Teicher.

Oyen is the recipient of the 2014 ASCAP Foundation's Lucille and Jack Yellen Award for promising lyricists. His musicals include Outlaws, A Night Like This, Money$hot! and Moment by Moment. Read more about his work in Playbill.com's Contemporary Musical Theatre Songwriters You Should Know.
