News Ali Forney Center to Host Inaugural Summer Benefit Ali Forney Center's inaugural summer benefit, entitled "Oasis," will be presented July 21 at the Hudson Terrace in Manhattan.

Robert Verdi and Linda Simpson will emcee the event, which will include an appearance by RuPaul's Drag Race contestant Jujubee.

DJ/producer Corey Craig will provide music for the evening, which begins at 6:30 PM and will include cocktails, entertainment and a silent auction.

Honorary event hosts include Jonathan Groff, Eduardo Xol, Lea Delaria, Heather Matarazzo and Caroline Murphy, John Cameron Mitchell, and Nick Adams.

Hudson Terrace is located in Manhattan at 621 West 46th St. Tickets range from $50-$500 and are available at www.aliforneycenter.org or by calling (212) 400-0282.

The Ali Forney Center (AFC) was started in June 2002 in response to the lack of safe shelter for LGBT youth in New York City.  They have grown quickly to become the nation's largest and most comprehensive organization dedicated to homeless LGBT youth.
