RIPLEY features the Tony-nominated actress on vocals and guitar with Shannon Ford (drums), Skip Ward (bass) and Christopher Schelling (keyboards). The band will play the Manhattan hotspot 10 PM-1 AM. There is no cover charge.

RIPLEY has also recently released a self-titled EP that features five songs. Recorded in winter 2004 in Brooklyn, the songs include "Romeo," "Lucky Man," "Sky," "Counting Sheep" and "Humiliating Circumstances." The disc, priced at five dollars, can be purchased by visiting RIPLEY's official website at http://ripleytheband.com.

Alice Ripley has appeared on Broadway in Side Show,The Rocky Horror Show, James Joyce's The Dead, Sunset Boulevard, The Who's Tommy, Les Misérables and in the City Center Encores! production of Li'l Abner. She has recently been seen in Ken Ludwig's Shakespeare in Hollywood, The Fabulous Invalid and Off-Broadway in Five Flights.

Ripley's non-show recordings include two discs with Side Show co-star Emily Skinner — "Duets" and "Unsuspecting Hearts" — and a recording of her own compositions, "Everything's Fine." The songstress was previously in the band "lame" with Tommy co-star Michael Cerveris.

The Red Lion is located at 151 Bleecker Street (at Thompson Street).
