Cabaret & Concert News Alice Ripley Will Return to The Green Room 42

The Next to Normal Tony winner will be joined by music director John McDaniel.

Next to Normal Tony winner Alice Ripley will return to NYC cabaret venue The Green Room 42 with music director John McDaniel for two shows September 30 at 1 PM and 7 PM. Both performances will also stream live.

Ripley has titled her latest concert offering "Believe It Or Not." For the song list, she has turned to her most requested numbers. Audiences can expect to hear "I Dreamed a Dream," "Who Will Love Me As I Am," "I Miss the Mountains," and more.

Ripley made her Broadway debut in the ensemble of The Who's Tommy in 1993, going on to plat Betty Schaefer in the original company of Sunset Boulevard and Violet Hilton in Side Show before joining long-running hit Les Misérables as Fantine in 1998. She was Tony-nominated for her performance in Side Show, and won for her work in 2009's Next to Normal, which starred Ripley as Goodman family matriarch Diana. She has also appeared on Broadway in James Joyce's The DeadThe Rocky Horror Show, and American Psycho.
