The Nov. 4 concert, entitled Alison Fraser Sings "A New York Romance" Live, begins at 9 PM. Christopher McGovern is musical director.

Fraser will offer tunes from her debut solo recording, "A New York Romance," which features "sad love songs" penned by her late husband Rusty Magee as well as such pop standards as "Orange Colored Sky," "Teach Me Tonight," "Impossible," "Always" and "No Regrets."

The acclaimed singing actress told Playbill.com, "Revisiting the CD with the perspective of time passed after Rusty's death is an amazing experience."

Fraser, who played Tessie Tura in the most recent Broadway revival of Gypsy, received Tony nominations for her performances in Romance/Romance and The Secret Garden, and her other Broadway credits include The Mystery of Edwin Drood and the 1996 revival of Tartuffe. She created the role of Trina in William Finn's In Trousers and March of the Falsettos and starred in the national tour of High School Musical as well as in productions of The Divine Sister, The School for Lies, Lizzie Borden, Honk!, Lend Me a Tenor, Gunmetal Blues and Lips Together, Teeth Apart, among many others. Her screen credits include "Law & Order: SVU," "Third Watch," "The Thing About My Folks," "Jack and His Friends" and "In the Blood."
