Dinelaris, who provided additional lyrics for Off-Broadway's Zanna, Don't!, penned the work, which is set in a downtown New York City eatery, as a response to post-9/11 urban society. Press notes state, "21 characters including a movie star, a Senator and his controlling wife, a vindictive stockbroker, a Hollywood producer and a hallucinating homeless woman collide in encounters that range from humorous to shocking and tragic." Joining Fraser in the cast will be Richard Bekins, Ted Koch, Todd Gearhart, Maryann Towne, Darcie Siciliano, Amanda Montavani and Max Darwin.

The creative team includes costume designer Bobby Pearce, set designer Tema Levine and lighting designer David. A. Griffith.

The Chaos Theories debuted as part of the 2004 International Fringe Festival. Dinelaris is currently at work on his Broadway-aimed project Still Life with Rock 'n' Roll producer Bill Haber and Coram Boy helmer Melly Still.

Stewart M. Schulman and Alexander Dinelaris co-direct The Chaos Theories, produced by Patricia R. Klausner and Linda S. Nelson (co-artistic directors, Shotgun Productions) and Leo Lauer (producer, The Resistance Theatre Company).

The Chaos Theories will play a limited four-week engagement through Nov. 17 at the McGinn/Cazale Theater, located at 2162 Broadway in Manhattan. Tickets may be purchased by calling (212) 352-3101.
