News All That Jazz: Roundabout Holds Online Contest for Prelude to a Kiss Tickets The Roundabout Theater Company has announced a trivia contest for tickets to the upcoming Broadway run of Prelude to a Kiss.

To enter, log on to roundabouttheare.org and name the jazz master who penned the composition that inspired the title of the Lucas play. The winner chosen from a lottery of correct answers wins a pair of tickets to the show.

Daniel Sullivan (Proof) will direct the Craig Lucas play — starring John Mahoney, Annie Parisse, Alan Tudyk, James Rebhorn and Robin Bartlett — which begins previews Feb. 16 and opens March 8 at the American Airlines Theatre. The limited engagement will play through April 22.

Mahoney will play the Old Man in the story with Parisse and Alan Tudyk as the young couple. Rebhorn will take on Dr. Boyle opposite Bartlett as Mrs. Boyle.

The ensemble cast will also include Francois Battiste, Brandon Dirden, MacIntyre Dixon, Marceline Hugot, Matthew Rauch, John Rothman and Karen Walsh.

Prelude to a Kiss follow the young couple's "whirlwind courtship with a storybook wedding," according to production notes. Their love is immediately "put to the test by unknown forces" when a mysterious elderly man kisses the bride at the wedding. The design team features Santo Loquasto (set), Jane Greenwood (costume), Donald Holder (lighting) and John Gromada (sound and original compositions).
