NY Musical Theatre Fest All You Need Is Love; Dance Musical All Is Love Makes World Premiere at NYMF, Sept. 19-28 All Is Love, a new dance musical from Walden Dance Theatre, will make its world premiere as part of the New York Musical Theatre Festival’s series focusing on dance musicals.

Performances will take place Sept. 19-28 at 37 Arts Theatre, 450 West 37th Street.

Conceived, choreographed and directed by Josh Walden, All Is Love follows the journeys of three women disillusioned as they adjust to life in New York City. Inspired by classic movie musicals from the 1940s and 1950s, All Is Love marries the traditions of musical theatre choreography with the electronic sounds of contemporary music and explores the magnitude of hope and survival in a story told entirely through dance.

The cast includes Jolynn Baca (Green), Ashley Bachner (Girl in Black), Jonathan Day (Boy in White), Gavin Esham (Orange Lover), Enders Groff (Blue Girl), Eric Imhoff (Green Lover), Lea Kohl (Fuschia Girl), Amy Ling (Orange), Javier Munoz (Yellow Lover), Nathan Peck (Boy in Black), Jill Slyter (Yellow) and Bianca Stauffer (Girl in Yellow).

Josh Walden has choreographed for Bay Street Theatre, Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, The New York Fringe Festival, Actors Theatre of Louisville, Riverside Theatre, Town Hall Theatre, Shenandoah Summer Music Theatre, Morag Productions, CAP21 Studios, D.A.R.E., Tisch School of the Arts, Theatre Barn and amfAR. As a performer, he has appeared on Broadway in La Cage aux Folles and 42nd Street.

The creative team also includes Travis Sullivan (composer), Alex Fortuit (composer), Theresa DiStasi (costume designer), John Ferry (stage manager) and Herrick Goldman (lighting designer).
