News Allen, Irons, Daly, Emond, Simmons and Begley Jr. Set for "Georgia O'Keeffe" TV Film A new made-for-television film about the life of American painter Georgia O'Keeffe will debut on the Lifetime network in late 2009, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Joan Allen and Jeremy Irons, who are scheduled to return to Broadway in 2009 in the world premiere of Michael Jacobs' Impressionism, will star as, respectively, O'Keeffe and photographer Alfred Stieglitz. The Sony Pictures TV film will also feature Ed Begley Jr. as Stieglitz's brother Lee, Tyne Daly as artist Mabel Dodge Stern, Linda Emond as O'Keeffe's friend Beck and Henry Simmons as writer Jean Toomer. Bob Balaban directs.

"Georgia O'Keeffe," according to the industry paper, follows "the 20-year love affair between the American artist (Allen) and photographer Alfred Stieglitz (Irons)."
