Texas' Alley Theatre is currently seeking scripts from young playwrights ages 13 - 19, from the Houston area, for a festival titled Houston Young Playwrights Exchange (HYPE). HYPE will take place Aug. 6 & 7, on the Alley's Neuhaus Stage. Submissions must have no more than six characters and must be one act. The scripts must be typed with numbered pages, and must include the playwright's name, address, phone number, and date of birth on the title page. All mailed submissions must include a self-addressed stamped envelope if they need to be returned.
