News Alliance of Los Angeles Playwrights Schedules Second Playreading Festival The Alliance of Los Angeles Playwrights has selected the plays to be read at its second Playreading Festival, which takes place Oct. 15-23 at various theatre companies around the city. The plays range from full-lengths, one-acts, short plays to monologues. The ALAP members represented in the festival are: Margit Ahlin, Jorge Albertella, Eleanor Book, Lorenzo Buford, Jeffrey Davis, Jay Dover, Alex Dremann, Diane Grant, Naomi Karz Jacobs, Charles Kray, David Lewison, Kres Mersky, Ralph Tropf and Jennie Webb.
