The event will take place in the Tishman Auditorium, 66 West 12th Street (between Fifth and Sixth Avenues). Scheduled performers include Karmine Alers, Marcus Choi, Julie Danao-Salkin, Frenchie Davis, Manoel Felciano, Jeremy Kushnier, and Robb Sapp. Performers are subject to change. The Rita (Sanskrit for Truth) Project is "a global movement to stop suicide and to celebrate life." The organization was founded by Kim Strouse in 2002 after her sister Kristin Rita Strouse, a freshman at Parsons The New School for Design, took her own life.
Tickets are $10 with a student ID, $20 general admission. Tickets are sold on a first come first serve basis and will be available at 5 PM on Oct. 4, at 66 West 12th Street.
