As part of Scott Nevins' Curtain Call series at the popular dance club, Calvert will perform a full set of theatre tunes following the weekly "Musical Mondays" video presentations of Broadway performances. Calvert's concert is scheduled for 11:30 PM. Danny Calvert was seen Off-Broadway in Altar Boyz and in the tour of the Pulitzer Prize-winning musical Rent. He also played Peter Pan and Young Hercules for Walt Disney Entertainment, and he was part of the NYMF production of White Noise. Calvert's recent theatre credits include All Shook Up and the L.A. production of Zanna, Don't. Calvert previously performed concerts at Splash Nov. 27, 2006, and Oct. 22, 2007.
Splash Bar is located in Manhattan at 50 W. 17th Street. Admission is free until 10 PM; there is a $5 charge after that time. Attendees must be 21 or older with identification.
