News Always... Patsy Cline, with Struthers and Johnson, Plays Casa Mañana Starting June 2 Emmy winner Sally Struthers and Julie Johnson co-star in the popular play with music Always… Patsy Cline, which begins performances at Casa Mañana Theatre June 2.

Guy Stroman directs Ted Swindley's work, which is based on the true story of a relationship between Cline and her biggest fan. The musical includes the hits "Crazy," "I Fall to Pieces," "Sweet Dreams" and "Walking After Midnight."

Struthers is cast as Patsy's fan Louise Seger, with Johnson (Look Homeward Honky Tonk Angel) as the late country singer. Always… Patsy Cline runs through June 7.

Designing the production are Tammy Spencer (costumes), Chad Jung (lighting design) and Shannon Self (sound design).

Struthers is a two-time Emmy Award winner for "All in the Family." She has also appeared on television in "Still Standing," "Gilmore Girls," "9 to 5" and "Gloria." Struthers' Broadway credits include Wally's Café, The Odd Couple, Grease and a 20th anniversary national tour of Annie. Other stage credits include previous mountings of Always... Patsy Cline, as well as Nunsense and Mame. She most recently starred in the Casa Mañana production of Steel Magnolias.
