It seems that life imitates art. Actors Amanda Seyfried (Les Misérables, Mamma Mia!) and Thomas Sadoski (Other Desert Cities) played lovers in the 2015 run of The Way We Get By at Off-Broadway’s Second Stage.
After the play, the two also filmed the movie The Last Word and confirmed in March that they were dating. (Sadoski was divorced from his wife of seven years, Kimberly Hope, in October 2015.)
Now a representative for Sadoski confirms that the couple is engaged to be married, according to CBS News.
Sadoski, 40, last appeared on Broadway in Joe Mantello’s 2011 production of Other Desert Cities, starring Stockard Channing and Judith Light. Sadoski won an Obie Award and Lucille Lortel Award for his performance in the play's Off-Broadway debut. He was also seen in The House of Blue Leaves in 2011, starring Edie Falco, and reasons to be pretty in 2009, for which he earned a Tony nomination, a Drama Desk nomination and a Drama League nomination. Sadoski is also known for his role as Don in HBO’s The Newsroom.
No wedding date has been announced.
