CHICAGO -- A recently announced grant of $1.5 million from American Express will enable Chicago's Arts Marketing Center to join seven other cities in creating marketing workshops, audience development training and a global resource center on the World Wide Web. Chicago's small to mid-size arts organizations are expected to take advantage of the new programs, including the biannual Advanced Audience Development Training and Granting Program.
The three-year goal is to increase audience base and earned income for arts organizations.
