Finn Wittrock, seen on screen in American Horror Story and The Big Short, will star in the title role in a reading of William Shakespeare's Hamlet, presented by Shakespeare & Company, October 8 at 7 PM in the Tina Packer Playhouse in Lenox, MA.

Kevin G. Coleman will direct a cast that also includes Jonathan Epstein (Claudius), Elizabeth Aspenlieder (Gertrude), Malcolm Ingram (Polonius), Rory Hammond (Guildenstern), Dylan Wittrock (Rosencrantz), Kate Abbruzzese (Ophelia) with Caroline Calkins and David Joseph.

“We’re excited to have Finn return to Shakespeare & Company long after his formative years at the Mount when he and other Company members’ kids formed their own company— cutting, casting and performing many of the same roles that they saw their parents playing,” said director Coleman. "Rory Hammond and Finn’s brother Dylan, both from those years, join him in this reading of Hamlet.”

This fall, Finn Wittrock will be seen with Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling in the film La La Land for Lionsgate. Upcoming theatrical productions include Othello with Daniel Craig and David Oyelowo and The Glass Menagerie with Sally Field.

Tickets, priced at $20-$80, are available online at www.shakespeare.org, or by calling Shakespeare & Company at (413) 637-3353 during box office hours. Shakespeare & Company is located at 70 Kemble Street.
