News American Idiot's Billie Joe Armstrong Will Guest Star on Season Premiere of Showtime's "Nurse Jackie" Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong (American Idiot) will appear in the season premiere of “Nurse Jackie,” scheduled to air April 8 on Showtime, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Armstrong will play a stranger whom Jackie meets that causes a major change in her life.

As previously reported, the fourth season of “Nurse Jackie” will also include guest appearances from Rosie Perez (Close Up Space, The Ritz), Aida Turturro (Chicago) and Tony winner Joel Grey (Cabaret, Anything Goes). Additionally, Tony nominee Bobby Cannavale (The Motherf**ker With the Hat) will have a recurring role as a hospital administrator.

"Nurse Jackie" stars Edie Falco, who was last seen on Broadway in The House of Blue Leaves. The series also features stage actors Eve Best (The Homecoming), Dominic Fumusa (Wait Until Dark) and Anna Deavere Smith (Twilight: Los Angeles, 1992).
