Daniel Fish directs the production that officially opens March 3 and will run through March 20 at the Loeb Drama Center. The Depression-era drama is the second installment of A.R.T.’s festival "America: Boom, Bust and Baseball," which explores the "hopes, disappointments, and triumphs of the past American century from the roaring twenties to the Great Depression, to the Boston Red Sox’s stunning 2004 World Series victory." The cast of Paradise Lost features Remo Airaldi as Phil Foley, Hale Appleman (Streamers) as Ben, Karl Bury as Kewpie, David Chandler (Death of a Salesman, Lost in Yonkers) as Leo Gordon, Thomas Derrah as Gus Michaels, Jonathan Epstein as Sam Katz, Merritt Janson as Libby Michaels, Adrianne Krstansky as Bertha Katz, Michael Rudko as Mr. Pike, T. Ryder Smith (Equus, Dead Man’s Cell Phone) as Julie Gordon and Mr. May, Sally Wingert as Clara Gordon, Therese Plaehn as Pearl Gordon and Cameron Oro as Felix.

"The American economy is on the edge of catastrophe and futures are at risk," press notes read. "The Gordon family, losing all they have worked for, strive to preserve their trust in each other and in the promise of their nation. Written by one of the greatest twentieth-century playwrights, Paradise Lost is a poetic, humane, and distinctly American drama that examines the impact of money and greed on family, business, and love."

The design team includes scenic designer Andrew Lieberman, costume designer Kaye Voyce, lighting designer Scott Zielinski, sound designer Clive Goodwin and video designer Joshua Thorson.
